In the semi-finals of the first SAARC snooker championship in Dhaka city of Bangladesh, both Pakistan players have reached the final by defeating Indian players and with that, Pakistan has not only won gold but also silver medal.In the first match of the semifinal, Pakistan's Mohammad Bilal defeated traditional rival India's Sandeep Galatti and unanimously won by 6-0, In the second semifinal, Asad Iqbal of Pakistan defeated Indian rival Lakshman Rawat 4-6. After the success of both players, Pakistan has now taken first and second position. Earlier, both Pakistan players had reached the semi-finals by defeating their Nepali rivals in the quarterfinals. In the first match, Asjad Iqbal defeated Deepak of Nepal 1-5, In the second quarter, Mohammad Bilal defeated Nepal's KAM Shri Setha by the same score.
