Talks with Taliban: Zalmay Khalilzad calls for US House of Representatives

Zalmay Khalilzad was summoned from the US House of Representatives after talks between the United States and the Taliban for peace in Afghanistan ended. According to news agency New York Times, the US Congress has ordered Zalmay Khalilzad, the country's representative negotiator in the Afghan negotiations, to attend the meeting of the House of Representatives and provide details of the negotiation process.
According to the news agency, US Congressmen have banned Khalilzad from attending the House of Representatives on September 19.

Elite Engel, chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, has issued a special order seeking Zalmay Khalilzad's meeting.

A few days ago, President Donald Trump announced a sudden cancellation of talks with the Taliban, as well as almost making the deal a dead end.

It should be remembered that a few days ago, US President Donald Trump suspended negotiations with the Afghan Taliban when an American soldier was killed and civilian killed in Kabul.

They said that the Taliban were doing this for their own benefit. If the Taliban cannot make a ceasefire, it means they do not have the ability to negotiate a purpose, they are killing people to improve their bargaining position.
